HERE, WHERE I LIVE - GRZEGORZ POLOCZEK WITH THE BAND - concert

Grzegorz Poloczek is a well-known and extremely popular Silesian satirist, cabaret player, singer, songwriter, monologue skits, TV program scripts and conference speaker. He has released three double music albums “From my square”, “Dwa Światy” and “Tam, kaj stoi stale szyb”. Each meeting with him is filled with author's monologues, songs and jokes, at which you can both cry with laughter and wipe away tears of emotion. He treats his activity extremely professionally, as he believes that a good cabaret should both entertain the audience and arouse reflection.

Grzegorz Poloczek regularly hosts on the stage of STI, each time gathering a full audience. Among the most famous hits of the artist are: “Malinkonija”, “Communion Circle”, “Bread Bowl”, “From Bottom to Bottom”, “The Hand Cooks”, “Patroness of the Miners” or “Tam, kaj Stoi Stoi Stoi Stoi Stoi Stoi Stoi Stoi Stoi Vib”.

The artist is the originator of the “Hanysy” Awards, the idea of which is to distinguish with the title and statuette “Hanysa” outstanding Silesians or people from outside Silesia, especially appreciated by Silesians. At the annual gala held on the stage of the Silesian Impresarial Theater named Henryk Bista (formerly the Henryk Bista Municipal Cultural Center), representatives of the world of sports, journalism, medicine, culture, science, art, industry and business, as well as institutions such as theaters, operas, foundations, cultural centers or the media are awarded.
