Ania Karolska — singer, songwriter and poet — returns with the most personal project of her career. Her second album, “HERE AND NOW”, is a bold combination of Scandinavian house, subtle electronics and indie-pop. The publication is accompanied by the literary debut of the artist — a volume of poetry “Back to Rubedo” inspired by the psychology of Carl Gustav Jung.

“I believe that like my debut album “On the Road”, “HERE AND NOW” will become a pretext for important conversations about man, emotions and relationships. If music and poems help at least one person to get back together, their meaning will be fulfilled,” says Ania Karolska.

A unique Podlasian folklore is woven into the modern compositional sounds thanks to the singing ensemble Kresovka (whose voices can be heard, among others, in the works “Na ór”, “Sen” or the skit “Zazula”). The album also features a special guest — renowned DJ and producer Piotr Suwalski (Suwal), who co-creates and sings in the songs “Bajka” and “I Want”.

On stage, Ani is accompanied by three experienced musicians whose different competences meet in one contemporary musical language.

Kamil Barański — pianist, keyboardist, composer, arranger, music producer and sound producer, a graduate of the Jazz Faculty of the Academy of Music in Katowice. He collaborated with Grzegorz Turnau, Kayah, Urszula Dudziak, Kuba Badach, Dorota Miśkiewicz, Paulina Przybysz and Maryla Rodowicz, among others. Since 2023 he has been the producer, music manager and musician of Ani Karolska, co-creating her stage sound and music production.

Tomasz Busławski (BUSLAV) — multi-instrumentalist, composer and author, also working as Buslav. His music combines pop, electronics and poetic song. He collaborated with Anna Maria Jopek, Novika, Marika, Mieczysław Szcześniak, Maciej Maleńczuk and Smolik. With Ania Karolska, he co-created “I See”, “Composition of Uncertainty”, “Normalnie” and “The Christmas Carol” to the text by Jarosław Mikołajewski.

Rafał Dutkiewicz — drummer, graduate of the New York University Drummers Collective and winner of the Drum Fest competition in Opole. He has collaborated with, among others, Skalpel, Wojtek Mazolewski Quintet, Sonar Soul, Paulina Przybysz and Brodka. Appreciated for its author's style and artistic versatility. He joins the Ani Band to bring out the electronic, pulsating character of the album and translate it into a lively, organic sound during concerts promoting “TU I TERAZ”.
