Participate in the creation of the exhibition!
And you can become a co-creator of our next temporary exhibition.
Ambiguous. The phenomena of Warsaw in the Museum of Warsaw are getting closer and closer. This is the final of a year-long project in which the museum staff, together with a group of volunteers — residents of the capital — created a story about the city's identity.
We are currently working intensively on the scenography and preparation of objects. We would like our audience to be able to participate in this process as well.
We invite you to an art workshop dedicated to the arrangement of one of the rooms. Under the supervision of artist Kamila Szejnoch and the curatorial team, you will be able to co-create the installation, which will become part of the exhibition.
Its central element will be a photograph depicting divers wandering through Czerniakowska Street. The picture will be surrounded by cardboard tiles creating a mosaic background inspired by the surroundings of Czerniakowska Street.
During the workshop we will give color to the tiles. On each of them we will depict a certain part of the environment, and then fill the contours with paint with the help of brushes. Thus, step by step, a multi-element composition will be formed.
The effect of our joint work will hang on the wall of one of the halls, creating a unique background for photographs of cute divers.
The workshop will take place on Sunday 11 October from 15:00 to 17:30
Place of collection — at the Museum's main box office (tenement no. 42)
Participation is free.
We encourage you to come to the workshop in the company of family (from 16 years old) or friends.
