About the event

On Tuesday, November 17 at 5:30pm, we invite you to the fourth meeting of the series {(Non) Teacher's Room}, inspired by collective creative processes.

How can the experience of contemporary art help build trust, collaboration and a sense of agency in a group? How co-creation can become a tool for building a collaborative and mindful class.

In the course of the activities, we will see if the creation of a joint installation, a short video work or a performative action can be an effective tool for consolidating the group. We will talk about methods based on the creative process and experience creative activities in the field of theater pedagogy, drama, improvisation. We will consider how to design activities that stimulate cognitively and artistically, strengthen the sense of belonging and create a space for dialogue, also for those who are less active or unsure of their position in the group.

(Non) Teacher's Room

A series of six monthly workshops of a developmental, instrumental and networking nature aimed at teachers, educators and educators working with children and youth groups. The project invites participants to go beyond the established patterns of educational and didactic work and to search for alternative and performative ways of building relationships with the group inspired by creative processes. The starting point of the meetings will be the exhibitions presented in the CSW Zamek Ujazdowski. Together we will experience contemporary art using creative working methods such as body and voice work, visualization, creative writing, drama or improvisation. They will become tools for reflection on the reality around us and an inspiration to search for ways to translate artistic experiences into educational practice.
