Cezary — director and partner of the tragically deceased Norbert — returns to the stage to reconstruct his solo performance. “Everything is fine with me” was the title of this personal, humorous story in which Norbert spoke with lightness and wit about himself, life and everyday struggles.
After his death, the title took on a bitter meaning. Under the layer of jokes and comedic form, unspeakable difficulties and suffering were hidden.
It is also Caesar's personal struggle with loss and longing. Humor mixes here with grief, laughter with silence, and theater becomes a form of mourning, a space of memory and love, as well as a celebration of life and creativity.
According to statistical data, every year more people lose their lives as a result of suicide than in road accidents. 80 percent of them are men. If we recognize that suicide is a consequence of a deadly disease — like many other possible types of death resulting from other deadly diseases — we will realize that the tragedy of those who take their own lives is not a private matter, but a social responsibility. We divide the ways of dying into better and worse, and consequently we protect as a society more from some deadly threats and less from others.
