Ulan & Bator

In 2026, Ulan & Bator are celebrating a quarter-century anniversary! This is not only meant to be committed, but also to be refueled, sung about and played on! With a colorful anniversary evening of favorite songs, well-known and unknown classics, forgotten and unforgettable small and big odes and delicacies of a different kind. The trade fair will be called SURPRISE TWO and will be on the program alongside UNDSINN.

“Astonishing coolness, perfect timing... great slapstick theatre” (jury for the German Cabaret Prize)

“The duo Ulan & Bator has developed their very own kind of cabaret. The two actors present a mixture of dada and word collage, of slapstick and pantomime. For this, they received (...) the German Cabaret Prize.” (AZ Mainz, Gerd Blase)

“Their performance simply tore the jury and the audience off their chairs with laughter. They pushed their limits with their physical and verbal absurdity, delivered terrific Dada and a very creative new format.” (Ludwig Müller at the award of the Passau executioner's axe)

“As with the Monty Pythons, this is both intellectual and wonderfully silly high comedy through acting brilliance. And something else is similar: the addictive factor.” (Oliver Hochkeppel on the premiere of UNDSINN in the Süddeutsche Zeitung)

“Ulan & Bator are too true to be crazy.” (A fan)
