(UN) SUPPORTED RACE (subtitles PL)

Bartosz Pawlik's film (UN) SUPPORTED RACE is an intimate documentary film showing the fate of Hannah Ghazi-Idrissi during the self-sufficient race Race Through Poland.

Experienced and ambitious athlete, Hannah, faces a private baggage of questions, hoping that the distance covered will ease their burden. As the race progresses, long hours in the saddle become a space for reflection for her, not a planned escape.

The film combines the intimate narration carried by the heroine's voice with the author's shots from the tour, exploring the themes of motivation, psychological resilience, the relationship with the landscape and the smooth line between unsupported competition and the presence of outsiders.
