Let it be green...

This moment changes a lot.

Christian, one of the participants in the eponymous celebration, gives a jubilee speech in honor of his father. This is how the ritual of confrontation begins. The celebration becomes a ceremony to which the sins, sins and demons of the past are invited. Toasts interspersed with accusations, laughter

with horror, and family secrets come to light with all their brutality.

Will the guilty suffer the consequences? In this world of inverted images and warped meanings, it is necessary to give voice to stories that have never been told, it is necessary to ask the question of who we become if for years we function in lies and half-truths?

“Celebration” is the question, does the truth give any solace? And to whom? More to the victims, or perhaps to the guilty? What happened to our decency? When did the “moral” and “ethical” devalue so much? To resist, to shout, to fight for purification, for the truth, even at the cost of losing a family. Only if the main family bond is a lie, has it ever been a family.

We will never know again how dinner would have turned out if the jubilee had chosen the yellow speech...

But does it make any difference?
