At the beginning there was a historical novel by Maria Ziółkowska, based around a real story that took place in the eighteenth century Piaseczno. The play was born on the occasion of the 570th anniversary of Piaseczno and has been returning to the stage for decades, enjoying the unwavering interest of the public, and not only from Piaseczno. No wonder: Interesting times, addictive plot, plus great acting by the actors of the Theater After Twentieth and excellent directing.

Teatr Po Dwudziestej has been operating in the Cultural Center in Piaseczno since 2014, combining the vitality and physical fitness of young actors with the credibility of the elderly, spontaneity with experience and at the same time exudes the joy of creation, to the delight of the spectators. All this makes the sung “Witch of Sand” a colorful, funny and moving spectacle.

The director of the play and the author of the script is Ewa Kłujszo, an actress, author of plays for children, youth and adults. The music was composed by Tomasz Kłujszo, manager of the well-known and beloved Big Band Dla Frajda.
