Inclusive music workshops as part of the project “The Middle Ages in a sensual aspect”, conducted by Tomasz Stera
Music has accompanied artists for centuries, developing art trends characteristic of each era. Undoubtedly, the musical layer during the Middle Ages was of vital importance for both artists and art recipients of the time. It allowed the development of later musical genres, moreover — it became an inspiration for contemporary creators. During the meeting we will find out, among other things, what sounds are hidden in paintings and sculptures, what influence musical forms of the time can have on art and man, and whether an old sheet music can be a work of art. We will try to hear the Middle Ages, as well as find and transfer medieval inspirations to the present.
Meeting in the Pavilion of the Four Domes, free admission. Registration: edukacja.pawilon@mnwr.pl or tel. 71 712 71 81. Please inform us if you cancel the meeting.
