In the live-action version of the Oscar® -nominated animated adventure, Moana answers the call of the ocean and ventures beyond the reef of her home island of Motunui for the first time. Together with the notorious demigod Maui, she embarks on an adventurous journey across the vast expanses of the sea to secure the future of her people. “Moana” was directed by Emmy® and Tony Award® winner Thomas Kail (“Hamilton”). Viewers will be able to experience the impressive images, sounds and songs of “Moana” exclusively in cinemas in July 2026.
