VEGA will be 30 years old in the fall of 2026. Buy tickets to VEGA Backstage and join VEGA historian Nikolaj Muldkjær around the nooks and crannies of the house.

In the fall of 2026, VEGA will celebrate its 30th birthday. That is why we are now opening the doors for a series of tours of our labyrinthine, beautiful house, where you will enter the most sacred!

Since Vilhelm Lauritzen designed the functionalist building inaugurated in 1956, every nook has been dedicated to community, art and culture. Thousands of musicians have played on our three stages, and 250,000 guests visit VEGA annually.

On a VEGA Backstage tour, you will delve into 70 years of lived history between the brown wood paneling. You will gain insight into the concert productions and the special history of the house as a framework for the labour movement. You will get answers on how the musicians start their evening before they step out on stage, hear the best stories from VEGA's first 30 years as a venue and gain insight into the evolution from a workers' stronghold to Denmark's largest, rhythmic venue.

The tour is with Vega historian Nikolaj Muldkjær and starts at 17:30 in front of Store VEGA's entrance. The whole trip takes about two hours and ends with a beer or water, which is included in the ticket price.
