Ehud Ettun in Wrocław
Ehud Ettun is one of the most charismatic double bassists of the contemporary jazz scene; an artist who has made the double bass an extremely vocal and expressive instrument — one that the audience not only hears, but also feels with their whole self. Recognized by The Boston Globe for his ability to evoke the “deep, soulful aura of Charlie Haden,” he presents his melodic, narrative-filled sound on the world's most important stages — from New York's legendary Blue Note club to the Kennedy Center in Washington, to concert halls in Boston, Toronto, Berlin, Tokyo, Seoul and Warsaw.
Jazz Monday at Vertigo
He has collaborated with music giants such as Kenny Werner, Anat Cohen and George Garzone, and his record includes six acclaimed albums. Being as much a virtuoso as a poet, Ettun plays with a remarkable combination of fire and tenderness, turning each performance into an unforgettable journey.
Now the artist is bringing this American jazz energy to Poland — he will perform live at the Vertigo club in Wrocław on November 16.
