VERY, VERY HAPPY ENDING

We all love happy endings. Some call it naivety, others see in it the hope needed today. And after all, in a successful end, you can find relief. How to celebrate the last day of December to end it with a smile, a sense of fulfillment and a happy ending?

“Very, very happy end” is a performance about the Warsaw theater, which mistakenly rented its stage for New Year's Eve to two institutions at once: the Provincial Association of Hobby Horse and the corporation Gigatech from Piaseczno. The former will master the stage with witty shows of horses on sticks, the latter came here to celebrate the end of the financial year with corporate karaoke. In an almost western clinch, not at noon, but almost at midnight, both sides will point their weapons against each other - although they themselves do not quite know who owns the theater today. Even the director of the theater, busy creating high-quality plays, does not know how to resolve this dispute. How to reconcile two worlds so far apart? What do the employees of the corps have to do with fans of simulating horse riding? Is it really, what kind of horse is, everyone sees and why actually the song is good for everything?

Full of humor, absurdity, but also tenderness towards the fundamental human differences of the story, the actresses and actors of Teatr Powszechny, in the belief that music soothes both, will perform well-known intergenerational hits such as Alphaville's “Forever Young”, Kalina Jędrusik's “SOS” and Urszula's “Konik na biegunach”.

Additional Info: There will also be a song unknown, but fortunately - with rhymes. At least one star (not from Poland) will perform on stage. No horse was harmed in the preparation of the show.

Stage smoke and strobe effect (light pulsing with high frequency) are used in the performance — people sensitive to these theatrical measures please be extra careful.
