Pomeranian Volunteer Forum is an event dedicated to volunteering, aimed primarily at volunteers, non-governmental organizations, public institutions, schools and individuals and entities involved in the development of volunteering in Gdańsk and the Pomeranian Voivodeship. The forum combines the educational part with a space for exchange of experiences, presentation of good practices and networking. The main theme of this year's 6th edition will be intersectoral cooperation as a key element of building a stable and effective volunteering ecosystem in the Pomeranian Voivodeship.
During the debate, we will look for answers, among others, to the question of what are the biggest challenges facing offices and NGOs today, trying to develop volunteering together and how to effectively combine the potential and capabilities of the administration and social organizations in order to build a strong civil society.
The participants of this year's edition are also waiting for consultation workshops, which will be devoted to the directions of development of the non-governmental sector and social participation in the context of ongoing work on the government draft Strategy for the Development of Civil Society.
As always, there will also be time for meetings, conversations, exchange of experiences, ideas and networking.
Pomeranian Volunteer Forum is the only such place to meet and network practitioners and supporters of volunteering from all over Pomerania!
Pomeranian Volunteer Forum is a cross-sectoral meeting of an educational, networking and inspiring nature, dedicated to the inhabitants of Pomerania interested in the subject of volunteering.
It brings together volunteers, coordinators, non-governmental organizations, public institutions and informal groups from all over Pomerania. It is used to discuss challenges, development directions, new trends in the field of volunteering and deepening competences. It supports the networking of an environment centered around volunteering and creates a space for the exchange of experiences, knowledge and good practices.
The Forum is organized on a regular basis by the Regional Volunteer Centre in Gdańsk.
We cordially invite everyone interested in the subject of volunteering: Pomeranian volunteers and volunteer organizers, non-governmental organizations, public institutions, cultural institutions, school volunteer circles, as well as all Pomeranian residents working socially in informal groups, for the common good or simply people interested in volunteering.
Participation in the event is free, but registration is required.
Making an application does not mean qualifying for participation — please wait for confirmation by the organizers of the possibility of participating in the Forum, which is due to the limited number of places*.
*In the case of more than 1 person from the organization, after the limit of places is exhausted, the organizer reserves the right to qualify for participation after 1 representative from a given entity.
