Victorian Psycho | Splat! FilmFest

In the middle of the 19th century, the eccentric governor Winifred Notty arrives at the Pounds estate to attend to the education of their children. Her peculiar manners and gruesome methods quickly raise concern, especially when murders begin to occur in the area. “Victorian Psycho” is a perverse thriller in which gothic horror meets black humor and bloody macabre. The film plays with convention, breaks the fourth wall and with each scene moves more and more boldly the line between the absurd and the horror. The violence escalates until the bloody finale, and the whole thing is driven by the magnetic creation of Maika Monroe.
