VIII MODELLING MEETING IN DĘBLIN — modeling competition 2027

On 25-26 September 2027, the 8th Model Meeting will be held at the Air Force Museum in Dęblin — a nationwide modeling competition combined with an exhibition of reduction models, aimed at fans of reduction modeling from all over Poland.

The event will have an open formula. Both individual modelers and members of clubs and associations can take part in the competition of reduction models. The 2027 modeling competition will be held on a similar basis to the edition of the previous year, divided into age and thematic categories.

The aim of the event is to present a variety of reduction models, to integrate the modeling environment and to promote modeling as a hobby that connects generations. The modeling meeting in Dęblin is also an important element of popularizing the history of aviation, the tradition of the Air Force and the heritage of Polish aviation.

In 2027, we want to thematically celebrate the 95th anniversary of the victory of Franciszek Żwirka and Stanisław Wigura in the prestigious International Tourist Aircraft Competition Challenge 1932 on the Polish RWD-6 aircraft.

Dear modelers! The task for you is one: 95 years — 95 models with a white and red checkerboard! In memory of Zwirka and Wigura!

As part of the VIII Modeling Meeting, the following are planned: a competition-exhibition of reduction models, a modeling fair, community meetings and exchange of experiences, the opportunity to visit the exposition of the Museum of the Air Force.
