Viktor Tóth is an outstanding Hungarian saxophonist. In his country, he was repeatedly awarded the title of “Jazz Music of the Year”, several times won the award for “Composer of the Year”, and despite his young age he became the winner of the “Gramophone” award — several of his records were recognized as “Jazz Album of the Year” in Hungary. In 2025 he won the Fonó Jazz Award. In recent years, in addition to stage performances and concerts, Viktor Tóth has also organized numerous solo concerts, group concerts and concert lectures. He considers it his mission to bring art and music to an audience that is currently still secular in this field. The artist is convinced that thanks to the knowledge of the historical background, regularity, artistic aspirations and stylistic features of jazz, the audience will better understand this music, and, noticing subtle nuances, will get more pleasure from listening to it.
