Vitello

The boy Vitello from the townhouse on the Ring Road makes the leap from book to film as easily as nothing in Dorte Bengtson's glorious adaptation of Kim Fupz Aakeson's beloved children's books. The gripes are simple when Niels Bo Bojesen's irresistible drawings are breathed into life, and it's a pleasure to follow Vitello, Max, Hasse, Møgungen William and not least Vitello's white-wine-drinking and romance-hungry mother, voiced by Sidse Babett Knudsen.
