Volcano trio - Gross/Hanousek/Marciniak - international Austrian/Czech/Polish - trio, met in Vienna, in their game they use preparatory techniques and alternative articulation techniques.

Remaining at the same time in the tradition of European freely improvised music, free jazz and music of contemporary composers. In addition, each of them brings their own sound to the band based on their place of origin.

Emil Gross “El Milio the Stick- Austrian drummer balancing between experimental music, rock, jazz, free improvisation and world music. Currently in Vienna - where he also works as a stage manager for RSO and studio musician. As a self-proclaimed musician who loves touring, in recent years he has toured Europe, the USA and Morocco with musicians such as Joe Fonda, Oliver Lake, Paul Rogers, Mike Kindred, Abdeljalil Kodssi, Michael Jeffry Stevens, Richard Palmer James or Anupriya Deotale.

Radim Hanousek- Czech saxophonist focuses on various forms of improvisation and projects from the borderline of jazz and contemporary classical music both as a performer and composer.

He was a co-founder of the Norwegian-Czech jazz quartet NOCZ, and the Prague Music Performance Orchestra specializing in the music of Anthony Braxton. Since 2013, Hanousek has been running an original project combining jazz, contemporary music and improvised Dust in the Groove.

He collaborates with musicians all over the world, and is also the curator of the international festival FAUN Explorations in Sound.

Łukasz Marciniak - Guitarist, composer, improviser. He works in the band Trio_io playing contemporary chamber music. He is a member of El Topo — a band exploring the intricacies of strings, and the risks of drums and cymbals, co-creator of Perforto — a string duo for piano and electric guitar in preparation, and of the latest trio Attack of the Mugatu — for guitar, cello and double bass. Author of music for films and performances. In solo activities and concerts of free improvisation- he works on his own language of articulation. He has performed with Mia Zabelka, Wieland Muller, Jaap Blonek, Isabelle Duthoit, Wojciech Brzoska and Edith Steyer.
