Voo Voo | concert

The Musical Theater in Poznań invites you to the concert of the band Voo Voo, which will take place as part of the 5th Festival of Integral Ecology — the Week of St. Francis. The performance is scheduled for October 7 at 19:00 in the Artis Hall.

The Festival of Integral Ecology takes place in Poznań from 2021, between October 4 (Saint Francis of Assisi Day) and October 10 (Tree Day). The event combines culture, reflection and actions for environmental responsibility. One of the musical events of the 5th Festival of Integral Ecology, organized as part of St. Francis Week, will be a concert by the band Voo Voo.

For more than forty years, under the direction of Wojciech Waglewski, the group successfully combines rock, jazz, ethnic music and elements of improvisation. The band's concerts are famous for their musical freedom and spontaneity. Each one is unique and sounds a little different each time. This is also the promise of the October performance at the Auli Artis.

The audience will hear songs from the latest album entitled “Soundness”. It is a collection of nine personal compositions by Wojciech Waglewski and a work by Mateusz Poalski. During the concert, the band will present not only material from the new album, but also well-known and appreciated by the audience songs from its repertoire.

The organizer of the Festival of Integral Ecology is the Zakłady Kórnickie Foundation.
