In the pocket of the scene

What does the scene have in its pocket and how many revolutions does it make per minute? Does collapse collapse? From which wardrobe did the voice of the fairy tale about Rumcajs the Robber come from, and where did the dog guarding the entrance to the Little Stage come from?

Take a look behind the scenes of the New! Walk through the tangle of narrow corridors that Kazimierz Dejmek, Mieczysław Voit and Ludwik Benoit walked along, stand on the stage, see what is under it and what is happening at the very top from the perspective of the spotlights; visit the make-up and painting room. What does the stage and audience look like from the actor's perspective? What paths do acoustics and lighting designers walk?

We invite you to tour, during which we will enter places inaccessible to viewers on a daily basis and look at this space through the eyes of those for whom it is a daily workplace. Come and get to know one of the most interesting theaters in Łódź from behind the scenes.
