Open your eyes and ears wide, look under your feet, what do you see there in the grass? Is it a stone or maybe a beetle? What does the ant dance? Is the moth sleeping?

Here it is — a microworld of creatures that fascinate big and small. The play In the Grass. The Sensory Laboratory is an invitation to explore and share your fascinations together. In a safe, cozy atmosphere, together with the youngest children, we will explore the world with many senses, look closely, experiment a little, because children are the greatest discoverers. Let's get carried away by their curiosity.

In thinking about the play, in the context of its audience — contemporary families living in cities — the category of the so-called “nature deficit syndrome” developed by Richard Louv, among others in the books The Last Child of the Forest and Vitamin N. However, the performance will not speak directly about the dangers arising from the lack of contact with nature — and thus about the disappearance of relations or closeness to the world of animals, plants, sheep. — but in a poetic way, through the richness of the theater of form, it will activate the sphere of sensory experiences of children. It will also become an inspiration to explore the microworld of nature in your own environment and to look closely at it as a fascinating phenomenon.

In thinking about the play, in the context of its audience — contemporary families living in cities — the category of the so-called “nature deficit syndrome” developed by Richard Louv, among others in the books The Last Child of the Forest and Vitamin N. Discover Nature Again, is important. However, the performance will not speak directly about the dangers arising from the lack of contact with nature — and thus the disappearance of relations or closeness to the world of animals, plants, insects — but in a poetic way, through the richness of the theater of form, it will activate the sphere of sensory experiences of children. It will also become an inspiration to explore the microworld of nature in your own environment and to look closely at it as a fascinating phenomenon.

(...) the show is aesthetically beautiful. The actors managed to enchant the space, transfer viewers into a microcosm, which we do not perceive on a daily basis. This is to be applauded, the rest can be improved.
