Fig. Andrzej Grabowski

A show for families with babies that looks at the everyday life of caring for the youngest children with tenderness and attentiveness. The artist and a dedicated team of six dancers of different ages turn ordinary, repetitive actions into a choreography of closeness — full of rhythm, care and intuitive movement.

What gesture do you feed your baby? What choreography do the hands create when scrolling, rocking or carrying? What does the movement of fastening the seat belts or lifting the baby from the crib look like? The show brings out their hidden meanings from these daily activities, showing them as a tender ritual that builds relationships and community.

in y p r a w k a explores the care movement as a shared and culture-creating experience — a collection of gestures simultaneously transmitted and evolving from generation to generation. It is a story about first relationships, about the body as a language of care and what we give to children at the beginning of this great journey called life.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Throughout the performance, children can move freely throughout the space and stage - they can change position, change places at will, observe from close up or from a greater distance. Adults are asked to initially take their places with such small elements - one family at each of them.

We want children to be able to express their emotions openly. Laughter, babbling, curiosity, movement and even crying are important ways of communication for us and a welcome part of the show. If the child feels uncomfortable, you can go out and come back with him at any time.

This is all a natural part of this meeting.

We enter the room without shoes. Please leave your shoes in the designated place and occupy any space in the performance space.

We wish you a beautiful journey together.
