“Wajda Kilar Śląsk” is a performance in which the spirit of Andrzej Wajda's films meets the heart of Wojciech Kilar's music and the executive body of the Song and Dance Ensemble “Silesia”. From the combination of this triad, a story is born of a man immersed in history, searching for meaning between... the first breath and the last silence. This is the story of a man who doesn't know where to go, but goes because he has to. A community that carries, but does not decide. About the road that leads through life, but on which you can not turn back. The silence that closes the circle. The creator builds a space in which the road becomes a metaphor for life, and in the experience of this path, the stages that measure its rhythm are revealed... Time begins to beat, love opens closeness, the system pulls into its modes, the self puts a person in front of a mirror in which the truth of who he is without masks is reflected. The road goes on - through the crowd, through the community, elections, everyday life. Silence awaits at the end. Not as an end, but as a closure of being... The play does not show events, history or plot, only states, internal stages, transformations. This story leads the viewer along a path where: film gives meaning, music organizes, and the body testifies. It's a show about us.
