On the way to the Museum of European Cultures, the Grunewald becomes an alpine learning landscape. Together with Bernd Schröder from the Berlin Section of the German Alpine Club, the participants embark on a hike of around ten kilometers that combines experiencing nature and imparting knowledge. Along the way, it's about the formation of mountain landscapes due to glaciers, the history of alpinism and the connections between Tyrol and Berlin.
The hike ends in the garden of the Museum of European Cultures. There, participants can expect a joint snack — the Tyrolean version of a snack. This is included in the price. A small refreshment provides an opportunity to exchange ideas and deepen the topics.
An event in cooperation with the Berlin Section of the German Alpine Club.
Sturdy shoes and sufficient physical condition for the route are required.
Meeting point: Heerstraße S-Bahn station
Costs: adults 15 euros, children up to 14 years: 1 euro per year of age. Payment is made on site.
