Let's meet at Yazdow to imagine new principles by which communities can be built.

This imagining will take the form of an RPG session, during which we empathize with people living in Warsaw almost 200 years from now, in the world of rebirth after the climatic extinction. This will allow us to reset expectations and habits, to come up with values from the ground up around which it is possible to build a new, more just community, and, despite tragedy, to find an optimistic vision of the future.

The RPG session will last 2.5-3 hours, during which we will try to tell together a story centered around the needs and values of a small solarpunk community. The adventure will focus on playing the character from the perspective of her psychology, philosophy and relationship with the environment (more so than combat and exploration, traditionally combined with RPG). The game will be mostly about talking. We want to record this conversation as a listening session so that our imagination remains a trace and we can share it.

In the role of master of the game, the adventure will be led by Nicholas Adamiec, who likes to imagine what the city could look like if it looked different from what it looks like. Everything that will happen here is done for the first time, but calmly, together we will cope.

The event is aimed at adults and Polish speakers. You don't need to have any experience with RPG games, you don't even need to know what it is. You just have to be ready to try to empathize with another character you have invented — no acting skills are needed, just a little imagination.

Important information (availability and parking)

Access and parking:

Cars are not allowed in the Osiedl Jazdow.

Currently, renovation works are underway on Jazdow - alleys and lawns are dug up.

There is no parking on Jazdow. We encourage you to come to the cottage by public transport or by bicycle.

Availability:

The space of the Rotary House of Culture is temporarily not fully accessible to people with mobility disabilities.

The wheelchair driveway is currently out of use due to renovation work. Three steps lead to the porch. In the cottage there is a toilet adapted for people with disabilities (handles, possible transfer from the left side of the shell).
