Why is Krochmalna Street one of the most famous Warsaw streets in the world? Who made the memory of her survive to this day?
During the walk we will discover the history of Krochmalna Street and get to know a world that no longer exists. We will find out what the daily life of its inhabitants was like and why it was this place that became the inspiration for many stories.
The workshop will be an opportunity to learn about Jewish culture and the work of Isaac Bashevis Singer, who preserved in his books the image of the former Krochmalna. At the end, we will create collage theatres in boxes inspired by his stories and his own imagination.
