Warsaw from the street: Rates

Where did the name Stawki Street come from? Did she always look like she does today? What traces of the past can be found on it? During the workshop we will look for answers to these questions. We will discover the history of this extraordinary place and its secrets. We will see that one street can tell many different stories.

We will examine what the former inhabitants of the area did and learn about one of the oldest crafts related to this place — brick-making. At the end, we will do a work inspired by old crafts.
