Where were the fairs held at Targowa? What could you buy in Prague's bazaars? How has the face of the most important street of Old Prague changed over the centuries?
During the family workshops, we will follow the extraordinary history of Targowa Street — a place that has been bustling with life, commerce and echoed the voices of residents and visitors for centuries. We will look for it on old maps and a model in the Warsaw Prague Museum, we will look at its modern appearance and discover how it has changed over the centuries. We will also find out what history the old oaks growing next to it hide and what they have witnessed over the decades.
Finally, we will make our own shopping bags, inspired by the commercial character of Targowa — perfect for a trip to the bazaar or local market.
