Warsaw from the street: Ząbkowska

Where could Ząbkowska Street lead? In Warsaw, many streets bear the names of the places they led to, although this is not always obvious today. In the past, such names helped travelers find their way when maps were not yet widely available. Have streets always served the same function? How has their role changed over the years?

We will look for answers to these questions during a short walk along Ząbkowska Street. We will find out where its name came from and what stories it hides. Then during the workshop we will play the role of urban planners — we will design our own streets, give them names and think about where they could lead.
