Zygmunt Stępiński was one of the post-war architects who devoted all his design work to the capital. His professional activity left a significant mark on the landscape of Warsaw. The architect's life projects include two parallel, historical communication routes of the capital — the Marshal and the Royal Route. Each of them had a different genesis and played a different role in the process of rebuilding Warsaw after the destruction of World War II. At the meeting we will examine what urban and architectural assumptions of the 40s, 50s and 60s of the XX century shaped these two areas of Warsaw. We know how Stępiński's projects still shape the city in which we live.
