Collage workshops inspired by Warsaw of the 90s

We invite you to a unique collage workshop inspired by the aesthetics of Warsaw in the 90s. The main theme will be the times of transformation — full of contrasts, urban chaos, new possibilities and a characteristic atmosphere that many of us remember from childhood or youth.

An important point of our story will be the Digital store — a place related to music, cassettes, records and urban culture of that time. It is around music, magazines, photographs and everyday images of Warsaw that we will build our collage stories.

During the workshop, participants will create their own analogue narratives — collages full of nostalgia, urban chaos, music and personal associations. We will cut, rip and combine fragments of photographs, illustrations, texts, advertisements and other materials to create new images of Warsaw.

The created works will be presented at the exhibition in January, as part of a project dedicated to the Digital music store.

The workshop will be led by Maryna @siliakova_m — graphic artist who creates collages and animator.
