Painting workshops for adults

The Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw invites you to painting classes, during which we will learn the basics of creating yolk tempera and prepare our own paint ourselves!

At the beginning of the meeting, we will look at the less used artistic techniques, which have overtaken the acrylic or oil paints popular today. To look for inspiration, we will visit together one of the halls of the exhibition “You are at the heart of change. After visiting the exhibition, we will return to the educational room, where we will create sketches together. We will learn step by step how to prepare a classic tempera paint, which consists entirely of pigment, water and chicken yolk. Then each of us will use a new technique in practice - with the help of self-prepared paint we will paint unique images on canvas or paper..
