Percussion workshops in Krzywy Gryfa

🥁 Drum workshops in Krzywy Gryfa and individual lessons 🥁

1. WORKSHOPS - lower price!
Enrollment for the second group is underway! Start on Saturday 03.10.2026, at 13.30

The first workshop group is already working and building its groove, and due to the great interest we are opening the second group! We still have a few free seats. If you want to start your adventure with this instrument or develop your existing skills — the Crooked Griffin Club invites you on board!

Hi, my name is Mateusz Rogoziński. In class I share my passion and experience. I give you the comprehensive basics and admit the “mistakes” so that you can avoid them. My strengths are genre versatility, a simple and natural look at music, a sense of humor and patience:) Instead of a scientific approach to various techniques, I focus on feeling and careful observation. As a result, the basic percussion skill — bounce control — is largely the result of noticing a natural process. ✨

I am an active musician and acousticist. I organize jam sessions and play opening sets — usually in different lineups, which broadens my experience playing with many musicians. I define my main style as afro-funk, that is, a combination of funk and afrobeat, with a mixture of many other inspirations such as rock, blues, jazz, hip-hop, drum'n'bass, Afro-Cuban rhythms or samba 💃🕺

I invite young people from the age of 10 and adults, both beginners and those who want to improve their workshop or prepare to play in a team.

PRICE LIST OF GROUP WORKSHOPS:
(Maximum 5 people, classes every 2 weeks)

• One-time price: 60 min - 60 zł
• Package: 4 x 60 min - 200 zł (discount 40 zł)

2. INDIVIDUAL LESSONS

This is an option for those who prefer one-on-one classes and those who want to maintain weekly learning continuity between workshops. I invite everyone - both those who want to start from scratch and people who already play, but need a fresh “third ear”, to refine tactics, strengthen motivation, learn the basics of new styles or understand complex rhythms (5/4, 6/8, 7/4 etc.) and a sense of their simplicity.

I bet on the balance between craft and art! Technique is the basis, but music is the pulse and lively dialogue with musicians ❤️

Several years of adventure with the bass guitar and playing in various bands, also in the Big-band of the Youth Palace, give me a more complete picture of the game in the section and a multi-level approach to the instrument. In individual classes we work with a pad and a full set. In addition, for a sense of the pulse of the section, I play with you on the bass, working through various rhythmic structures.

Do you want to be the drummer that bassist will catch the groove with? I invite you!
