Beekeeping workshops

The dance of the bee is encrypted information for her family - this mysterious way of communication and many other curiosities can be discovered by taking an interest in their life and customs.

Beekeeping workshops are a time to plunge into the flower-scented world of beneficial insects, to dwell on the amazing life of bees and their customs. It is also an opportunity: to get into the clothes of a beekeeper and learn the secrets of his work, to hear about honey plants and the importance of ecology and botanical diversity in the environment. In addition, participants will feel the smell of a real hive, see a honey centrifuge, an incinerator and many other tools used in the apiary. Children will be able to independently and safely make a candle from a bee nodule and try bee products such as: different types of honey, pollen and feather.

Classes are dedicated to preschool children and primary school students - the program of meetings is adapted to the age of the participants. Such workshops are a practical complement to biology lessons on hymenoptera, pollinators or ecology, and for younger participants an inspiring trip to the world of insects.
