Workshop sgrafitto — decorating ceramics

We invite you to ceramic workshops for all those interested — for children, youth, adults and seniors! Children under the age of 12 can participate in the workshop with the help of a caregiver/parent. Sgrafitto is a technique for decorating ceramics that involves engraving patterns in clay coated with angoba, that is, stained clay. Thanks to this, we get a contrasting and unique pattern on the ceramic dish. This process requires patience, precision and a little imagination. Classes are conducted step by step, with thorough instruction, so that both beginners and more advanced people can freely work and develop their skills. Patterns will be performed on pre-prepared plates. It is possible to realize your own graphic design — please prepare a simplified, linear drawing in A4 format.
