Workshop: Terribly Cool Creatures. Workshops for young people and adults 16-21 years

There are secrets in this world. In old tales, you can find stories about unusual characters, events that have been overgrown with legend over the years and... strange creatures. What if all these creatures one day left the cards of old stories and appeared on paper?

During the two-day art workshop Terribly Cool Creatures, participants will create their own interpretations of unusual creatures, experimenting with their appearance, character and form. The inspiration will be legends, passes and fantastic ideas, but treated not as a ready-made pattern, but as a starting point for creating something completely new. Participants will be able to freely process familiar motifs, combine them, deform them and give them their own meanings. There will be creatures that are disturbing, grotesque, mysterious, absurd, or surprisingly likeable — exactly as the creators' imaginations suggest. Perhaps there will be creatures that Tarnów has not yet seen!

The workshop will be led by Agnieszka Szułakiewicz. We invite young people and adults aged 16-21 years to the meeting. Participation in the workshop is free of charge, registration is required.
