Theatrical and literary workshops with Agata Skowrońska

Branch no. 29 of the Tadeusz Różewicz MBP invites young people aged 13+ on Saturday 10 October at 11.00 to an exceptional theatre and literary workshop with Agata Skowrońska.

Those participating in the workshop will see how the adaptation of a literary work, written in prose, to the stage is created. Everyone will be able to try their hand at a short passage of the novel. Young people divided into smaller groups will prepare a short scene that will be played, or read for roles. Together we will see how it works and what elements should be included in the adaptation so that it passes the exam in the theatrical space.

Actress, director, theater and film producer, founder of TEATTRAKCIJA and President of ArtTrakcja Foundation. A graduate of PWST in Wrocław in 2001, actress of the Polish Theatre in Wrocław. She has made guest appearances at the DOC Theatre in Moscow, the Wrocław Contemporary Theatre and the Wrocław Opera. Awarded for her debut at the Kalisz Theatre Meetings in 2001, the recipient of the Bronze Spire in 2003 has many theatrical and film roles in her achievements. Since 2012 he has also been directing theatre and radio productions as well as film productions.

Since 2007 she has been cooperating with the Wrocław Children's Hospice and the I Have a Dream Foundation, organizing various meetings and events for children supporting the activities of the aforementioned institutions. For many years he has been conducting his own theater workshops for young people from the correctional center. In the years 2022 — 2024 she lectured at the Advocacy Application in Wrocław. She is a laureate of the PASSION competition organized by the VOLTO AMORE Foundation. “XERO 24" — a show for young people dealing with the problem of drugs was recognized in the category “Passion and exceptional creativity”. For her film and theatre activities in the field of history promotion, she was awarded the Lviv Defence Cross by IPN in 2018. Awarded the Bronze Cross of Merit by the President of the Republic of Poland and the Bronze Medal “Merited to Culture Gloria Artis”.
