Workshop on creative painting of the edges of books

Can a book become a work of art? Of course! During creative workshops, participants will decorate the edges of the book “Afternoons Like Dark Chocolate” published by Książnica, creating a unique copy that will be a unique decoration of the home library.

This is an opportunity to look at the book from a completely different perspective and give it an individual character. Each participant will design and paint the edges of his copy under the supervision of a specialist in painting the edges of books - Agu Czajkowska (@kupie_przeczytam_pozniej). At the end of the workshop, participants will take the decorated book home.

Moreover, you will receive the book as a gift from the library and one of our Partners, Wydawnictwo Książnica.

About the Host:

Agu Czajkowska - President of the bookstagram I will buy, read later and social media ninja Wydawnictwo Mięta. She entered the publishing world by accident, organizing the author's meeting of Marta Kisiel in Matras in 2014. In another case, she became a social media supervisor at the publishing house Uroboros (2015-2020). In his non-existent free time he reads, paints and pastes books and has 1528 more ideas for managing the time he does not have.
