Workshop with Studio Kamyk “Hurry up, Alberta”

Do you like the adventures of Albert Alberston? If so, we invite you to a workshop about Albert, the hero of the book series by Gunilla Bergström.

Albert Albertson lives with a very nice dad and cat Puzl. Like any little girl, he sometimes has trouble falling asleep, he can mess around terribly in the morning before going to kindergarten and is extremely resourceful, especially if he wants something very much. Children recognize in Alberta their behaviors and emotions — joy of play, curiosity about the world, unlimited fantasy, but also anger, jealousy or fear.

During the workshop we will read a book entitled “Hurry up, Alberta” by Gunilla Bergstrom, then together we will build a large clock face, using an old fireplace clock as a model. The built clock will be used to teach us to read the hours. In addition, children will participate in rhythmic games that will help us to read the hours on the clock. This will be done using instruments such as: jammers, bells, rattles, etc.
