Who was allowed to laugh — and who was the joke? With a keen eye on the 90s and 2000s, this documentary tells of women on German television who had to fight for their place. Maren Kroymann, Hella von Sinnen, Bettina Böttinger and many others. An entertaining, political piece of media history that (almost) makes you laugh stuck in your throat.
