Friends decide - as in the good old days - to go on foot along the Scottish West Highland Way and The Cape Wrath Trail. A 30-day hike along some of the most beautiful, but also the most difficult routes in the UK, turns out to be a test of male friendship. Wild nature, steep approaches, stinging rains and swarms of fuzz present a real challenge for inexperienced travelers. But it is equally difficult to reach out to each other, to make silence not become the heaviest baggage, to look in perspective at what is left of a close relationship and at one's own life choices.
