“Weekend with the Harp in Wahadle” is two unique meetings with Amelia Tokarska and the Celtic Tales Quartet. On Saturday evening, the audience will embark on a full-scale journey through Scottish and Irish melodies, and on Sunday morning the youngest spectators, together with their families, will discover the extraordinary world of the harp during a family concert.

Amelia Tokarska — a harpist appreciated for her musical imagination, sensitivity and excellent technique — invites her band Celtic Tales Quartet to a concert. The project promotes the album “Celtic Harp Tales”, released by DUX, and presents a fresh, authorial look at Celtic music.

The harp is the center of sound, around which appear electric violins, keyboards, piano, percussion and subtle electronics. The original arrangements combine folk roots with the sensibilities of musicians from the world of classical and jazz, creating a narrative, cinematic journey through Celtic legends.
