World hits in Hessian

Hessian is the language of love and poetry. Elis C. Bihn and Tilman Birr have recognized this. Now they translate world hits from the last 140 years into Hessian and sing them to you. Why do they do that? Oh, you don't understand otherwise!

Anyone can write new texts. But who can translate “I come from a land down under” so that it fits Hesse and yet doesn't distart the original? Just these two mood linguists with bass, guitar and two vocals.

Although the originals sometimes have nothing to do with Hesse, as Minister President Georg-August Zinn said back in 1950: “Hesse is who Hesse wants to be.” And even though we don't know whether John Lennon, Prince and Elvis Presley wanted to be Hesse: Now they are. And that's nice!
