Opening: FRIDA LORÉN — PAINTING

FRIDA LORÉN, artist

Forum Art School in Malmö in the 1970s, many courses at Gerlesborgs Art School, Näslunds Värdshus Painting School, Margaretaha Olsson in Sjöstorp, Anna Törnquist in Baskemölla, Gunnel Moheim at Edsviks Konsthall Stockholm and Nansen School in Lillehammer. Art education at Folkuniversitetet in Lund and Studieförbundet Vuxenskola in Malmö.

I started painting with watercolor in 2006 and was fascinated by this technique, which is unpredictable and exciting. I had a lot of great teachers! Among others, Professor Arne Isaksson, Lars Holm, Anders Wallin, Hasse Karlsson, Anna Törnquist, Morten Paulsen, Lars-Eje Larsson. In my painting, I want to touch the viewer, create an atmosphere, convey the deepest feelings. The most important reason for painting is joy and the opportunity to express feelings.

Until 1968, she lived in Żoliborz on Generała Zajaczka Street.
