Is it possible to see something that we pass every day as if we were seeing it for the first time? “Otherwise” is an exhibition of photographs by Krzysztof Lesiakowski, who has been looking at the world through a camera lens for 15 years.
Krzysztof Lesiakowski is from Cracow, a photographer by training, a scholarship holder of the Tri-City School of Photography, in his work he focuses primarily on the details of architecture and abstraction.
His photographs stop the eye on what usually goes unnoticed. A fragment of the facade, shape, texture, line or shadow — the usual elements of the everyday environment in his lens acquire a completely new meaning. What we know well suddenly becomes unobvious.
The exhibition “Differently” is also a story about light that can change the way we perceive places and objects well known to us. Strong, expressive light brings out shapes, textures, lines and contrasts, revealing details that we pass by indifferently on a daily basis. In Krzysztof Lesiakowski's photographs, ordinary fragments of the environment acquire a new dimension — sometimes almost abstract. This is when the familiar becomes unobvious, and everyday life begins to look different.
The exhibition will be available to visitors until 23.11.2026.
