“Portrait of Krystyna” is the first individual presentation of Krystyna Piotrowska's works in Tarnów. A city close to the artist, where she found traces of her family. The exhibition is of a cross-sectional nature, presenting the artist's works from the early 1980s, to the latest paintings recently painted with inspiration from archival photography seen in a book about Tarnów. We will see well-known cycles, works shown very rarely and paintings presented for the first time. Krystyna Piotrowska is known for her masterful graphics, but the Tarnów exhibition allows you to look at her work more broadly, also presenting drawings, objects, video and painting.
