Opening of the painting exhibition by Mr. Mirosław Sołtys entitled: Interpenetration of Worlds

The artist will present two different painting worlds. Sacred painting and unrealistic realism.

Mirosław Sołtys (born 10.v.1955) He graduated from the Wrocław P.W.S.S.P. in 1981 with a specialization in graphic design. From 1981 to 1983 he worked on the conservation of the canvas Panorama Racławicka. Until 1987, he worked as a freelance artist and realized more than a dozen solo exhibitions in Poland and abroad. From 1987 to 2003 he ran an advertising company and lived in Denmark. He has held exhibitions in Germany, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Since 1997 he has been running a Soft Art advertising studio specializing in the promotion of Polish landscape and architecture using, among other things, watercolor technique. Mirosław Sołtys' works can also be found in Scandinavia and Germany in the form of posters and postcards. As part of the activities of the SOFT ART artistic and advertising studio, a series of calendars was created promoting cities: Wrocław, Kłodzko, Lądek Zdrój, Długopole-Zdrój, Szczawno Zdrój, Sanok, Lubin, Jelcz Laskowice, Opole, Legnica, Oleśnica He is the author of postcards advertising Poland. For a few years as a tattoo artist and since 2022 he has been engaged in oil painting, the fruit of which is the Namysłów exhibition.

This is not the first meeting of the artist with the Namysłów audience! In 2012, Mirosław Sołtys was already a guest at the Namysłów Cultural Center, where together with Wiesław Kowalczyk he presented the exhibition “Cities of Three”. The artists' works depicted climatic scenes of Syców, Namysłów and Oleśnica. Years later, we invite you to meet again with the work of Mirosław Sołtys — this time in two exceptional paintings.
