When the world rushes and we get lost in the hustle and bustle of everyday information and signs, art can become a place to stop. Sometimes not to show us a nice view, but to help reset the look at ourselves. This is exactly the kind of journey that Konrad Kupczyk invites us to during his vernissage “My name is a man and I come from the stars”, which will be held on October 9, 2026 in the “Sokół” Palace.

About the event

The inner cosmos on the canvas. We invite you to the opening of Konrad Kupczyk's exhibition.

Going to this exhibition, it is worth abandoning expectations about classical painting. Konrad Kupczyk does not copy reality. He does not look around for ready-made landscapes or symbols that he could simply transfer to the canvas. His path leads in a completely opposite direction, from the inside out. The artist tries to capture this pure, often difficult tension that arises within us before we clothe our fears, delights and desires in concrete words.

He describes his work as NeuroGlyph. For Kupczyk, NEUROGLIF is not an artistic pseudonym or a set of rigid, academic rules, but a unique name for the entire creative process. It is the trace of a living movement of consciousness, the moment when the chaos of thoughts and emotions solidifies on the canvas for a moment in a form resembling a mysterious map, a fragment of unknown writing or organic, pulsating cores. These images do not give simple answers. Rather, they are an invitation to confront our own interior and the courage to look at the world from a perspective that we have so far avoided.

The October evening in the historic interiors of the Falcon Palace promises not only as a cultural event, but above all as an opportunity for a personal experience of art in its most uncompromising form. It is a chance to talk to the artist, the participants and stop at a painting that reminds us of what lies beneath the surface of everyday meanings.
